"The kingdom of hell must decrease and the Kingdom of God must increase"

Hear this:
People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is starving. Yet when he is found, he must restore sevenfold; He may have to give up all the substance of his house. (Proverbs 6: 30-31).

This ministry has an arrest warrant for Satan for the following offences:

  1. Stealing, killing and destroying. (John 10:10)
  2. Blindfolding people from the true light of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (2Corinthians4:4).

As if enough is not enough, he is roaring like a lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We will not let him go on with his lies, rather we will by the power of the word of God open the eyes of as many as we can who will in turn, pursue, overtake and recover all  what the enemy has stolen. However, "Not by might nor by power but by my spirit says the Lord Almighty" (Zechariah 4:6).

HOW DO WE INTEND TO ACHIEVE THESE? WE INTEND TO ACHIEVE THESE BY:

  1. Living Jesus, Acting Jesus and being like Jesus unto all nations.
  2. As such, preach, teach and spread the gospel of our Lord and master Jesus to all man kind.

The ministry of Our Lord while on earth is summarised by these scriptures:

"The spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, To preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord" (Luke 4:18-19).

"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil for God was with Him" (Acts 10:38).

COB will further as the scripture directs;

  1. Bring encouragement to the discouraged and hope to the hopeless.
  2. Bring healing to those who are sick and to the nations.
  3. Bring relief to those who are suffering as a result of wars or natural disasters.
  4. Bring good news and words of peace to the troubled hearts.
  5. Open the prison doors and set the captives free as well as bring deliverance to those who are oppressed, tormented and bound by the evil forces.
  6. Show care, love and concern as well as receive with open hands and bring blessings to the poor and those who are rejected.
  7. Sow seeds into ministries or Christian groups and the body of Christ at large to further enhance evangelism.
  8. Declare freedom and liberty unto the enslaved, fearful, oppressed and suppressed.

These seem difficult but remember as always that "nothing is impossible to those who believe" With the Father, Son and Holy Spirit on our side, Victory is guaranteed. Don't be over whelmed by the scope of the project but remember He has charged us to do greater works.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that I do he will do also and greater works than these he will do because I go to my father" (John 14:12).

Your membership of the Lord's church courtesy confession, guarantees your salvation i.e living and reigning with Christ in His Kingdom where you will have life eternity and even in this life, have His blessings (Mark10:29-30).

God not only created you in His image and after His likeness but went further to demonstrate His love for you by giving His only begotten son to die for your sins. How best can you show appreciation but to obey His words which will glorify His name and in turn cause people around to say "Your God will be my God and your people my people" As they will see the glory of God in  your life.

Therefore as we have seen the benefits of the church to the believer, it is worth it that the believer, also render certain services unto God through this ministry. Services that can be rendered include:

1.  Worshiping God in Spirit and in truth.

"But the hour is coming and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the father in spirit and in truth; for the father is seeking such to worship Him" (John 4:23).

2.  Stand in the gap and pray that the anger of the Lord God does not descend upon this adulterous generation but that they turn unto Him in righteousness and live and not die a shameful death.

"And I sought for a man to stand in the gap but there was none"(Ezekiel22:30 )

3.  Die a little for others to live: Your ability to demonstrate the love of

God showing care and concern will bring increase to the Kingdom of God.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies it produces much grain" (John12:24).

4.  Live as salt giving taste and light, shining.

"You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt looses its flavour, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill can not be hidden" (Matthew 5: 13-14).

5.  You must be prayerful. Praying for yourself, family, Nation and the

Church of God, as well as our leaders: Because a prayer less Christian is a powerless Christian.

"My house shall be called house of prayer for all Nations.

6.  You must also set out times to deny yourself certain things that give

you pleasure in order to seek the face of God which is called fasting.

"Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that You break every yoke" (Isaiah 58:6-12).

7.  You must give your tithes and offerings. The government needs taxes

to function properly providing amenities to the citizens. The house of God needs the tithe and offering to take care of workers in the vine yard as well as carry out the duties spelt out in the mission statement.

"Give and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use; it will be measured back to you". (Luke 6:38)

"And all the tithe of the, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lords`. It is holy to the Lord". (Leviticus 27:30)
